Claire Laycock
Claire joined us mid way through 2007 and has brought a myriad of skills with her.
In 2003 Claire completed a Bachelor of Science Degree at UQ St Lucia campus majoring in evolutionary Biology.
After this she commenced a course in Kinesiolgy Studies which she is due to complete in the near future. She has also pursued her personal interest in Yoga by studying Yoga teaching.
Claire’s horse riding first riding love lay in the areas of show jumping and eventing. Claire has competed at State level in these disciplines.
Before coming to Riverside Claire had already established a client base of private horse riding students together with working at other riding schools.
Claire had also spent 6 months working at the training yard of Kevin MacNab, a well known QLD event rider.
Already a gifted coach, Claire is working towards her EFA coaching accreditation. With her sights now set on Dressage competitions, Claire is training a young Warmblood with the aim of competing in 2008. Claire would love to be a Grand Prix Dressage rider and is on her way to achieving her dream.
